Ease

Audio Ease's Speakerphone 2 takes their popular speaker-simulation plug-in to the next level. On top of the original Speakerphone's practically end-all speaker-simulation collection - with ambience sounds, reverbs, and DSP modules - Audio Ease packed Speakerphone 2 with more newly sampled guitar amp cabinets, antique phones, toys, answering machines, and megaphones. There's even a new microphone-simulation module that offers up models ranging from Royers to toy microphones. What's more, a new 'coverup' module lets you put your sound inside cardboard boxes, car trunks, tin cans, and more - it's all in Audio Ease's Speakerphone 2.

In Speakerphone 2, these covers can be applied to your sounds giving them a peculiar muffled quality. That might not seem particularly appealing, but if you hook up the new Multi LFO to the Covers module, you can adjust the 'pitch' of the cover in real time, moving the characteristics of the cover around in pitch.

To learn more about this insane thing, go here: https://www.audioease.com/Pages/Speakerphone/speakerphone.html. Audio Ease’s Speakerphone has been updated with a variety of new modules for weird and wonderful convolution-based processing. One such module is a microphone simulator that gives the user the ability to colour the sound of their recordings with emulations of a range of mics, from professional studio models to toys.

  1. The Audio Ease Speakerphone V2 Software Plug-In gives you authentic speakers of any size together with their natural environments. All the walkie-talkies, distant transistor radios, upstairs TV sets, bullhorns, cell phones and guitar cabinets you will ever need. Speakerphone 2 will add dial tones, operator, static, and you can select.
  2. Speakerphone 2 by Audio Ease Review Ambience. Just imagine how hard it could be to record a conversation over a lousy GSM connection (GSM cell phone data compression, distortion, and delay), walkie-talkies, public phones, headsets, general phones, or cell phone with the possibility to add the extra unwanted sound like static and more.

Authentic environments
A bad GSM connection on a busy sidewalk, a bullhorn with feedback and a helicopter overhead, or an early '50s rockabilly guitar amp in a recording studio live room: Speakerphone 2 gives you authentic speakers of any size together with their natural environments.

Add some ambience
Here's all the walkie-talkies, distant transistor radios, upstairs TV sets, bullhorns and cell phones you'll ever need, right inside one plug-in. Speakerphone 2 will add dial tones, operators and static, and you can select from a wealth of ambiences on either the caller or receiver's end. And with a click you can send anything from the sample-playback bay right to the cursor in your Pro Tools track.

Easy operation, complete control
Operation is extremely quick: you just call up one of the hundreds of carefully crafted and archived presets. If you're a tweaker, just click 'show controls' and the whole dashboard slides out, at your disposal, with the most minute detail. Speakerphone 2, powered by Altiverb, combines a wealth of effects including a convolution engine that uses actual samples of hundreds of original speakers, a radio receiver tuning dial, record player scratch and static generator, GSM cell phone data compression, distortion, tremolo, delay, a variety of EQ and dynamics, bit crushing, sample rate reduction, a full blown convolution reverb, and a library of samples to combine into entire environments. You want to have the artist rap through a cell phone? Rather than pull up an eEQ and distortion, why not make him rap through one of Speakerphone's actual GSM connections? Perhaps surrounded by the acoustics and sounds of an idling car at a gas station?

Classic amp sounds
Speakerphone 2 contains a host of classic guitar amps, complete with tailor made distortion, spring reverbs, and everything else to build guitar tone that you won't believe is coming from a plug-in.
